February's Just Nan SAL

For this month I have chosen to start on Lady Scarlet's Journey. This is a three part design and I hope to complete the first part this month. Today was the first day I worked on it and I managed to stitch the left side border and start on the first band.  Can't wait to see this one complete. I've been planning on stitching this design for several years and I'm grateful for Zeb's SAL to motivate me to get moving on it:)

Till next time,

JN SAL for January

Well, I completed my first Just Nan piece this evening -Christmas Morning. Now to decide how I'll finish this. You can get info about this SAL over at Zeb's blog http://www.ixari.net/
I've really enjoyed getting back into cross stitch and look forward to going through my JN stash to see what I'll stitch for February.

TUSAL

Here's my 1st TUSAL of the year. I've decided to put all  my orts into an ornament I picked up after Christmas at Joann's. This is what I've managed so far this month working on my Just Nan Christmas Morning project. It should be interesting to see how full it gets this year.

Just Nan SAL

I had today off from work, so I dug through my Just Nan charts and decided to start this SAL with a small kit I picked up a few years ago.  I began work on it today. As I was digging through the Just Nan charts I have I remembered why I have so many...I just love her designs! With the new year I'm going to try to post on here more often, if for no other reason then to keep track of my progress.

Till next time,
Susan

Spring Is In The Air

Beautiful Sunny Day here, so I decided to make a Spring Wreath for my front door. This was very easy to do and only took a couple hours from start to finish. I used 5 rolls of 6" tulle and cut them into 14" pieces-2 per knot, alternating my color scheme [ I even have a bit left over]. I enjoyed making this so much I'm now on the look out for some Red, White, and Blue tulle to make a Memorial Day/ 4th of July Wreath!
